Bridget Drain

2031 coach

Bridget Drain, aka Coach B, is originally from the NOVA area, and began playing lacrosse her freshmen year of high school. She was a tri-athlete and lettered in varsity volleyball, track & field, and lacrosse at Falls Church HS. During her senior year, she was a varsity captain, MVP defensive player of the year, and 1st team all district for lacrosse.

In college, Bridget played four years on George Mason’s club lacrosse team, while simultaneously refereeing, and coaching youth lacrosse. She eventually made her way to the high school level, where she coached for 3 years as the JV head coach at Marshall HS, and 1 year as the assistant varsity coach at McLean HS.

Bridget completed her dual Master’s degree in 2020 in Elementary Education and Special Education at the University of Virginia, where she received the UVA Faculty Scholarship, and was selected as a fellow for the Charlottesville City Teaching Residency Program. Bridget now teaches at Walker Upper Elementary School, where she is the recent recipient of the 2022 Golden Apple Award.

Coach B loves introducing the game of lacrosse to kids, and watching their growth over the years. She is incredibly excited to join the CavLax family and work with the 30/31 littles this season!
