Dave Breslin joined the Cavlax coaching staff in 2022 and will work with the program’s goalies. He grew up in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey and was a goalie for the national powerhouse Lakers. He went on to Ohio Wesleyan University, and as a senior earned 1st team All-American, National Goalie of the Year, and Conference Player of the Year honors while captaining the national runner-up, Bishops. After graduation, Dave joined the faculty at The Covenant School in Charlottesville, where he led the Eagles to five boys’ lacrosse state championships between the years of 1997 and 2009. Breslin resides in the Ohio Wesleyan Athletic Hall of Fame and the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

 

Dave holds a master’s degree from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. He is a professor at Liberty University’s School of Education and resides in Charlottesville with his wife, Kristen, son Luke, and daughter Kayleigh.
