Harper Zaun is currently getting her master's from the University of Virginia in Curriculum and Instruction with an Area of Emphasis in Social and Emotional Learning. She graduated from UVA in May of 2022 with her Bachelor of Science in Education and has her license to teach both Elementary and Special Education.

Harper grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and attended Collegiate School, where she played four years of varsity lacrosse. She was a first-team LIS player during her junior and senior seasons and won the LIS championship during her junior season. Also, Harper was captain and won the coaches' award during her senior season. Harper played travel lacrosse for the Richmond Strikers and was recruited by High Point University as an attacker, where she played lacrosse during her first year of college. Harper transferred to UVA to start her second year and has been an active member of the club lacrosse team since then, which finished its 2022 season as #4 in the country.

Harper has coached rec and travel lacrosse since high school. She is one of the Cav Lax coaches for the 2026 team. Also, she is one of the JV lacrosse coaches at Saint Anne's-Belfield School.
