coach 2030

Jeffrey McKnight is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. He and his wife, Sarah, have four kids, CJ, Jeff, Emma and Grace.  They spent time in South Carolina, back in Arizona, and finally made Port Republic, Virginia, their home in 2013.

Having coached all of his kids and other athletes in various sports, they found their passion in lacrosse. The family began playing lacrosse in 2018 and has not stopped. Jeffrey leads the Rockingham Lacrosse Club Muddogs, a rec/club team in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He has grown the sport in The Valley from 32 athletes to 195 athletes and 3 teams to 7 teams.

Both Emma 2027 and Grace 2030 play for CavLax Elite and love it. His son CJ has committed to play at Bridgewater College and his son Jeff plays travel lacrosse with the 2025 Hammers Elite.
Jeffrey is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of CavLax Elite; to push, motivate, inspire and have fun with the athletes.
