Mackenzie Hoeg is a current fourth-year student-athlete at the University of Virginia. She is a member of the women's lacrosse team and is majoring in Kinesiology. Some of her lacrosse accomplishments include IWLCA All-South Region First Team, Third Team IWLCA All-American, and team captain, all in the 2023 season.

Mackenzie is from Mattituck, New York, where she began playing lacrosse at five years old. Mackenzie played travel for the Long Island Yellow Jackets. Also, she played basketball growing up.

Mackenzie has coached lacrosse clinics and camps for the University of Virginia and enjoys working with girls of all ages. She is very excited to work with the Cav Lax staff and share her passion for lacrosse with all the players!
