Kelly Lynn
Coach 2027
Kelly Taffe Lynn was a two-sport athlete for Washington and Lee, competing in Field Hockey and Lacrosse. She graduated, holding the school’s most prestigious records for both sports, scoring more goals and totaling more points than any player in both program's history.
Kelly was a 2004 second-team All-American and earned the 2001 first-year and 2004 senior-year Most Valuable Female Athlete at Washington and Lee. She was inducted into the Washington & Lee Athletic Hall of Fame 2015.
Kelly began her lacrosse coaching career in Australia and then spent a year coaching for the English Lacrosse League in London, England. She followed that with a year of coaching as the volunteer assistant coach to the UVA lacrosse team in 2006. Kelly also spent a year refereeing high school lacrosse in Albemarle County. She also coaches for focus field hockey, a local developmental program.
Kelly was born and raised in Charlottesville and has coached the 2027 team since its inception. She is the proud mother of triplets (two boys and a girl), and her husband coaches the 2027 travel Hooville Hawks boys' lacrosse team. Kelly is the Vice President of Sales of the Atlantic Coast Athletic Club.
