Current Training Opportunities
Our club and recreational programs for boys in Kindergarten through 10th Grade, offer a fun, high-energy environment where young athletes can sharpen their skills, build confidence, and learn the game of lacrosse the Cav Lax Elite way.
2026 - 2027 Club team tryout registration
For the 2026 - 2027 lacrosse year, we will continue to offer both club teams and recreational programs. Our goal is to support advanced players through high-level coaching and competition on our club teams, while also providing a recreational program focused on skill development with a lower time commitment.
- Club Teams (Travel): For rising 3rd–10th graders (tryout required)
- Recreational Programs: For rising kindergarten–8th graders (no tryout required)
Club Team Overview
Required Seasons: Fall & Summer
- 1–2 practices per week
- Tournaments and local playdays
Optional Seasons: Winter & Spring
- Additional training and development opportunities
Club Team Tryouts (Mandatory)
Who: All interested rising 3rd–10th graders (current players must try out each year)
Date: Monday, June 29
Location: St. Anne’s-Belfield School (799 Faulconer Drive)
Tryout Times:
- 5:00–6:30 PM — Rising 3rd–6th Grade
- 6:30–8:00 PM — Rising 7th–10th Grade
Key Dates:
- Mandatory Tryout: June 29
- Team Invitations Sent: July 15
- Commitment Deadline: July 22
