Shannon Poindexter

Coach 2032/33

Shannon is originally from Charlottesville, VA, where she grew up playing every sport available in the backyard with her two brothers. Eventually, she went on to play basketball and soccer at the collegiate level.

After college, Shannon landed back in Charlottesville where she and her husband Pierre started their family. Five kids later, Shannon has remained involved in local youth and high school sports, coaching varying levels of basketball, lacrosse, and soccer. Coach Poindexter has three daughters who are members of the Cav Lax Elite club.
